I have a greatest hits cd by them, but this one is much better. After hearing it, I had to get the cd.If you like Simon and Garfunkel.you will love this cd. I really enjoyed this cd. I listened to Dangling Conversations which I just loved while on a road trip.
i did not try to play it yet since the other one is still working.one paid for buy gift card and the other paid for by pay pal. one of carrying cases is cracked. may have caused purchaseing two. i apears to be in good shape. i thought that i was gettiing two different cds. that didn't happpen.going to pay pal then back to amazon.com. but the disc it self seems to be ok.i will keep the second one for a spare.
I grew up listening to these songs and it's awesome to be able to hear them all again. Thank you for another excellent product. I really enjoy this CD. The price was excellent and so was the service, as it always has been.
Every song comes alive and makes you want to sing along. I would highly recommend this to all. I LOVE this CD. Every one of their hits are here and it brings back such fond memories.
After falling in love with 'Mrs. It's certainly fulfilled my needs.Like many other great acts of the 1960s, the duo is best known for their unique harmonies and great lyrics.
A good education, indeed. 'Scarborough Fair/Canticle' is a wonderfully organic presentation of the traditional tune, and 'Homeward Bound' is the quintessential '60s song.
'The Sound of Silence', 'The Boxer', and 'Old Friends/Bookends' are all introspective masterpieces, while songs like 'Fakin It' and 'Cecilia' have a more upbeat feeling. But I can say that it's one I enjoy.
Having been born a decade after Simon and Garfunkel's breakup, I was first introduced to their music through the film "Forrest Gump". Robinson', I turned to "The Best of Simon & Garfunkel" to complete my education.
And, of course, 'Bridge Over Troubled Water' is unforgettable with its explosive climax.I don't know enough about the group to call this album 'definitive'.
